Personal injury lawyer Jeff Rasansky, of The Law Officies of Jeff Rasansky, P.C., was named to Texas Lawyer's '40 Under 40' List

Texas Lawyer newspaper has recognized Jeffrey H. Rasansky, of the Rasansky Law Firm, as one of the top young lawyers in Texas. Mr. Rasansky was honored in a special section of the newspaper's September 10, 2001 edition, entitled "40 Under 40."

The "40 Under 40" list is comprised of lawyers, judges and legal scholars, all under the age of 40 years old. Mr. Rasansky was selected by the editors and reporters at Texas Lawyer, who polled lawyers across the state in developing the list. "I am honored to be in such good company," Rasansky says, "and I congratulate the other lawyers who were selected, as well."

Rasansky earned his law degree at Southern Methodist University in 1990 after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. Soon after earning his license to practice law, Rasansky joined a large firm in downtown Dallas. There, he learned the legal maneuvers used by large insurance companies, nursing homes, and hospitals. He later joined another Dallas law firm where he began representing people who were injured by the negligence of others.

Mr. Rasansky has has won millions of dollars for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries at the hands of others. Rasansky has successfully represented clients in cases involving medical malpractice; nursing home neglect; brain damaged infants; product liability and defective products; serious accidents involving cars, motorcycles and pedestrians; and construction site injuries.
In 1998, Rasansky established a web site devoted to helping families and their loved ones make informed decisions about nursing home care. In addition, families across the United States have relied on Rasansky's free nursing home booklet, Elder Law and Abuse: Recognizing Abuse and Protecting Your Loved Ones, for advice and information regarding nursing home care.

Rasansky is licensed to practice before all state courts in Texas, the United States District Courts in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Fifth United States Circuit Court of Appeals.

Texas Lawyer is the state's only independent newspaper dedicated to law and lawyers.
