Authorities will be conducting an investigation into the fatal collapse of a construction crane in New York. The Manhattan district attorney’s office will be looking into whether the machine was returned to service without proper inspections and repairs. The crane was damaged in a 2007 project and it appears it may have never been properly repaired.
