Explosion Injures Oil Rig Worker

Submitted by jrlaw on Mar 9th, 2009

An explosion left an oil rig worker unconscious near Denton this morning. While hooking up a supply pump at a facility on Burns Ranch Road, something exploded and threw the man. Details regarding the cause of the accident are unknown, as is the worker's condition. After initial treatment by Krum medical workers, he was transported to an area hospital by helicopter. See the WFAA Video.

Like our April 14 blog about a utility pole killing a worker, workplace accidents do happen and are often deadly. Just look at all the crane accidents reported earlier this spring. If you have been injured in a workplace accident, you may have grounds for a lawsuit. Fill out this online form or call 1-800 Attorney today to discuss your case. And be careful out there.
