Swine Flu & You – How to Prevent and Avoid Swine Flu

The Dallas Morning News is reporting several local school closures due to swine flu, including high schools, elementary schools, and preschool programs across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
In addition to school closures, the CDC is advising those with flu-like symptoms – fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue – to stay home, see a doctor, and err on the side of precaution. Antiviral medications, such as Tamiflu and Relenza, have been shown effective against swine flu if taken within 48 hours of symptom onset.
