Cerebral Palsy Communities & Associations
The United Cerebral Palsy Association (UCP) is one of the leading cerebral palsy foundations in the United States. United Cerebral Palsy fights for the rights of people with any disability but specifically pays special attention to Cerebral Palsy. Find a local chapter of the UCP to get involved your local community through fundraisers, charitable events, and more.
CPParent is a fantastic community brought together through email listserves. At the website level, archives are available from March 1996 through the present. Discussions are often loose - anything to help families struggling with cerebral palsy is welcome.
The C-Palsy List, another online email and listserve community, is one of the world's largest communities for cerebral palsy. Searchable archives are available for past topics, discussions, solutions, and more.
Facebook has a wealth of cerebral palsy groups, pages, causes, and communities as well. A sampling of them:
Twitter is also a great place for up-to-date news and community action. Either search for terms related to cerebral palsy, or follow @CPInfo for regular updates, news, and events.
